After finding the video, Tyra proceeded to beg for either a pet shark or shark petting lessons for Christmas. Here I was well prepared for a Coach bag, concert tickets, a possible trip to DC to visit the Smithsonian or take a tour of the White House but shark petting? Now, while I am an adventurous man, never as a preteen did it dawn on me that petting a shark was even plausible or logical for that matter.
I told her no and she looked at me with those impossible blue eyes until I settled on her getting a puppy for Christmas, as if we needed another pet. This is less of an update and more of an example of why daughters are dangerous for fathers.
